First Impressions: 2016 MacBook

Hello everyone! How are you?

Just a couple of days ago, I went ahead and decided to pick up the 2016 MacBook! So far, I love this computer! The only downside would have to be the single USB-C port, but a USB hub can easily fix that problem!
So far, the computer runs like a champ! On paper, the specs are not the greatest, but with everyday use, the computer runs great! Continue reading “First Impressions: 2016 MacBook”

Working with a Mac

Hello everyone! How are you?

PC vs Mac. It seems to be an ongoing war that will never come to an end. The Mac has its pros and cons, and so does the PC. The Mac is good for some things, and bad for others. The true questions comes down to, what operating system do you want to use?
The Mac is running OS X while the PC is using Windows. When it comes to me, I am alwasy going to choose the Mac due to the simplicity and the Mac being able to work hand in hand with my iPhone, iPad, and much more!
The one thing I like to use a PC for, is the hardware. Today, you are able to get very nice hardware inside a PC for a very decent price! When it comes to gaming, I am also going to choose the PC.
For every day tasks though, I am choosing the Mac!
For the past three years now, I have been using a Mac for school, work, and much more! I am alwasy finding myself having a great time using the Mac! I find myself not running into as many issues as I would if I had been using a PC.
I love how I am able to just turn on my Mac, and get right to work!

So, what do you think? Do you prefer Windows, or OS X? Do you prefer Mac, or PC? Make sure to let me know by tweeting me! You can find me on Twitter by clicking here. Have a fantastic day everyone!

Apple Updates!

Hello everyone! How are you?

Yesterday, was a day full of updates! Apple decided to go ahead and push out iOS 9.2, OS X 10.11.2, WatchOS 2.1, and tvOS 9.1! All these updates, I have been testing except for WatchOS 2.1.
To start off, I would like to talk about OS X 10.11.2! As soon as I was able to get to my iMac yesterday, I went and updated to the new version! Ever since then, my entire experience on the iMac has been better! This updates is brining some major bug fixes, and many stablility improvements! I recommend updating if you have not already!
The next update I would like to talk about is iOS 9.2! iOS 9.2 is bringing some major improvements to my iPhone 6s Plus! When I first got my 6s Plus, I noticed that 3D touch would stutter some, and the overall OS would have a few lag points here and there! Well, with iOS 9.2 everything is back to buttery smooth! I have yet to experience any lag or stutter!
The last and final update I would like to talk about today is the tvOS update that Apple released today! Overall, I have yet to experience anything major except for a few bug fixes, and some new stuff with Siri! Overall, if you have the AppleTV 4th generation, I recommend this update!
Here are some pictures of the updates:

Lets talk WWDC

Hello everyone! How are you?
As you all probably know by now, WWDC is coming on June 8th! At this event, Apple is said to be announcing the newest version of iOS and OSX. The new iOS version is said to focus on stability. I have not seen many rumors on the version of OSX.
With the newest version of iOS, it is said that older devices like the iPad 2 and iPhone 4s will still be supported! This is great news for people who still have these older devices and want to be able to run the newest operating system from Apple!
With the new version of OSX, there are not many rumors but, I have heard that it will be trying to focus on continuity and handoff that was first introduced in iOS 8.
So, what are you expecting from Apple on June 8th? Make sure to let me know over on Twitter! You can find me on Twitter by clicking here. Have a fantastic day everyone!

Goodbye MacBook!

Hello everyone! How are you?

Tomorrow, will be my last day with the MacBook Air that I was given for this school year. Over the summer, my school will be taking our MacBook’s and updating them to the newest version of OS X. I am very happy to see how the MacBook’s will work on the newest version of OS X and cannot wait to get it back next year!
